#29 – How to create without the weight of results

What happens when you’re excited about where you’re going but dreading the process of getting there?

In this episode, I share how one question transformed my entire experience of launching a new program.

For creators, entrepreneurs, and sensitive souls who’ve lost the joy somewhere in the middle of building something that matters.

Introduction: Enjoy the Process as Much as the Result

There’s something that happens when you set out to create something truly important to you: somewhere in the middle, the joy leaves.

You start with aliveness, excitement, vision, a sense that this is it.

Then the doing begins.

The pressure builds.

And what started as a spark slowly starts to feel like a weight.

When the Destination Feels Right but the Path Feels Heavy

A few months ago, I decided to create a new group program, something that would bring together all of who I am: the intuitive coaching, the Human Design and Gene Keys work, the healing art and energy work. I was genuinely excited.

Then I thought about launching. And I felt a contraction.

I’ve done launches before, some successful, some less so, like every entrepreneur.

I knew what was ahead: the energy required, the uncertainty of who would show up, the pressure to hold momentum while staying grounded in the offer.

I had looked for someone who could show me how to launch in a way that felt good. I hadn’t found it. Most of what I’d seen created more stress than it relieved.

So here I was: in love with the destination, dreading the path.

Already wanting to procrastinate on the one thing that needed to happen first.

The Question That Changed Everything

I didn’t want to force myself through it. That was non-negotiable.

So I asked: How could this be fun?

Your brain is designed to answer the questions you give it.

Ask the right question, give it space, and the answers come.

My entire focus shifted not from how do I do this right, but how can I enjoy this, for myself and for the people I’m inviting in?

That question became the container for everything that followed.

She Comes Alive: When Joy Leads the Process

From that question, the experience She Comes Alive was born.

Instead of a traditional launch, I created something I genuinely wanted to live, live events, healing artworks, audio reflections, all built around what it means to create, the ups and downs, the authentic experience.

Three live events became the heart of it:

Feel the Soul of Your Creation– connecting to what wants to be born through you, in a receiving and feeling mode rather than pure doing mode
Alchemise Your Old Patterns of Creation– releasing past experiences of failure, frustration, or disappointment through a body-based artwork exercise (you only need paper and colours, I guide you through each step)
Meet Your Alive Creation– visualising the project fully bloomed, connecting to the energy of the reality you’re stepping into

I was surprised every single day.

Every morning brought a lightness I hadn’t expected from a launch.

The process was so enjoyable in itself that the result became the cherry on top of the cake, not the only reason to be there.

That’s a meaningful shift.

When you enjoy the creative process that fully, something opens: you want to create again.

Ideas keep flowing.

The question of success stops feeling enormous.

Life Is Mostly in the Experience, Not the Result

Just before recording this episode, I had a session with a client looking for a new job aligned with her values.

I could feel the pressure she placed on every interview, every exchange a test, every “no” evidence of not being enough.

I offered her this: what if you walked into the next conversation with a different question?

How could this be enjoyable for both of us?

That reframe shifts everything.

We spend most of our lives in the experience, not the result.

Results are moments in time; they arrive, and they can even change.

But the experience of moving toward something that matters? That’s happening now, every single day.

When all your attention is on, will it work, will people come, am I doing this right, that pressure collapses the energy you create from.

Contraction doesn’t generate flow. And without flow, neither does your best work.

The result is the endpoint… or the start of the next beginning.

The experience is your life.

Questions for Your Own Reflection

1) What are you currently creating, and when did the heaviness start? What specific moment did the joy leave?
2) What would it look like to enjoy the birthing process itself, not just the outcome?
3) What question could you ask yourself today to bring more lightness into what you’re building?
4) Where are you so focused on the result that the experience has become a weight?
5) What would you do differently if you trusted that your enjoyment of the process was part of what brings the result?
6) Where have you stopped creating because it became too heavy, and what would it take to begin again?

Ready to Enjoy What You’re Creating?

The shift I lived during this launch, from dread to genuine delight, wasn’t a strategy.

It started with one honest question: How could this be fun?

When you lead with that, the pressure on the result lifts. The flow returns. You want to create again.

If you want to experience this for yourself, two doors are open.
